OVERVIEWGulf Coast Underground is seeking a skilled & versatile Fleet Mechanic to join our team! This position is crucial to maintaining the operational readiness of our diverse fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing and repairing various types of vehicles and mobile equipment, and a willingness to travel to job sites on a weekly basis.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPerform routine maintenance, inspection and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to: trucks, heavy machinery & specialized vehicles.Diagnose & troubleshoot mechanical issues to determine the most effective and efficient repair solutions.Travel when and where needed to provide on-site maintenance and repairsAdhere to al safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environmentQUALIFICATIONS5 years of mechanical experienceDemonstrated ability to service, diagnose and repair various types of vehiclesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environmentWillingness to travel to Jobe sites on a weekly basis: TRAVEL REQUIRED: 90%**CDL PREFERRED, NOT REQUIRED**BENEFITSCompetitive SalaryHealth Insurance CoverageRetirement Savings PlanCompany VehicleProfessional Development and Technical TrainingOvertimeThis position is local position (Theodore, AL) and candidate must be willing to travel weekly to varies sites.
