Job Description:
Fit Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable
Part-Time Payroll Processor to join our team. This is an excellent
opportunity for someone with payroll experience looking for a
flexible, part-time position, and paying in the $20\/hr range.
Responsibilities: Process biweekly\/semi-monthly payroll for hourly
and salaried employees Collect, verify, and input timekeeping
information Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and
taxes Maintain payroll records in compliance with state and federal
regulations Prepare and distribute payroll reports to HR and
accounting Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions,
and timesheets Assist with year-end processes including W-2s and
tax filings Coordinate with accounting or HR on benefits deductions
and PTO tracking Qualifications: 2 years of experience in payroll
processing Familiarity with wage and hour laws, tax regulations,
and payroll best practices Strong attention to detail and
confidentiality Ability to work independently and meet
deadlines
