Job Description:
Koch Foods, a leader in the poultry processing industry, is
seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Finance
team. This role is vital for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of
the company's financial reporting and compliance. Located in one of
our key facilities, the Senior Accountant will handle complex
accounting activities and will provide analytical support to
improve operational efficiencies and enhance financial performance.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal,
state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax
reporting. Supervise accounting staff and manage performance,
development, and allocation of tasks. Collaborate with internal
teams to improve financial procedures, and initiate strategic
financial projects to improve profitability. Assist in budget
preparation and expense management activities. Handle tax
preparation, filings, and audits. Analyze financial data and create
reports for management stating trends, financial performance, and
financial forecasts. Advanced proficiency in accounting software
and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Knowledge of
federal, state, and local financial regulations. Medical Insurance

(Certified Public Accountant) designation is highly preferred.
