Job Description:

The primary responsibilities of this position include advocating and working primarily with unable-to-work families from every station of life, and sometimes dire economic backdrops, to ease them through transitions, hardships, and mentally tough times. This work also involves assisting families in finding the proper opportunities to obtain the resources or supplements needed for stabilization. The incumbent will also serve as a liaison between families and the family’s needs. Other duties include interviewing, counseling, referrals, developing and maintaining case files and case management, and other related activities in providing services to eligible applicants under the various programs provided by the Agency. Qualifications: Required: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university, good writing and documentation skills, and computer experience. Works well in a fast-paced environment and maintains confidentiality and objectivity. Demonstrates a high level of organization, planning, reporting skills, persistence, proactivity, listening, verbal communication, and building client relationships.
