This senior leadership role is responsible for guiding projects from early concept and client engagement through design coordination, budgeting, and successful execution. Learn more at peoplesconstruction.com Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all design-build operations for commercial and industrial projects Partner with clients to evaluate needs and develop tailored design-build solutions Direct budgeting, estimating, design coordination, and project planning Oversee development of plans, specifications, and pricing documents Coordinate internal teams with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors Build and refine reporting systems to track project progress, timelines, and performance Identify and implement process improvements, software, and systems to improve efficiency Support site selection and early feasibility analysis Strengthen long-term client, community, and industry relationships Represent the company in client meetings and professional settings Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or related field Minimum 5 years of commercial general contracting experience with design-build leadership responsibility Deep knowledge of design-build delivery methods and construction operations Experience with VDC, CAD, and modern construction technology tools Strong understanding of site selection and early project planning Proven ability to manage client relationships and stakeholder engagement Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills Strategic, self-directed, and forward-thinking professional Compensation & Benefits Compensation: Competitive salary: $100,000 – $150,000 Performance-based and year-end bonuses Bi-weekly pay Mileage reimbursement Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance options Retirement savings plan with profit sharing Paid time off (vacation, sick, and holidays) Paid training and professional certifications Technology package (smartphone or tablet) Profit sharing and/or employee stock options Culture: Supportive, family-first environment Long-term stability and career growth Leadership role with real influence on company direction Schedule Full-time, Monday–Friday Occasional regional travel for project oversight Work Location Based in Flowood, Mississippi Regional project oversight across Mississippi and surrounding states Equal Employment Opportunity Peoples Construction Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
