Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available serving K-6
students across multiple schools in the Spanish Fort area, AL. This
contract role runs through the current school year (ASAP to May 20,
2026). The assignment includes working with preschool to 6th-grade
students across four school locations, providing individualized
speech and language support to enhance communication skills. Key
Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language,
and communication disorders in students ranging from preschool to
6th grade. Develop and implement individualized education plans
(IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families. Monitor
student progress, keep detailed reports, and adjust therapy goals
as needed. Collaborate with other SLPs and school staff to
coordinate services and maximize outcomes. Provide support and
assistance to additional elementary school SLPs as schedules allow.
Qualifications and Experience: Valid professional license or
educator certification in Speech Language Pathology. Experience
working with children ages 3 to 12, with caseload exposure to
preschool and elementary levels preferred. Ability to manage
caseloads across multiple school sites efficiently. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with
students, families, and school teams. Licenses must be current and
verifiable via images. Additional Information: Location: Spanish
Fort, AL. Full-time, approximately 35 hours per week. Contract
position with ongoing discussions regarding interview scheduling.
