Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to
provide essential support to students in a K-12 school setting
located in Daphne, AL. This contract position spans the current
school year (CSY) and involves working with multiple school and
preschool sites within the district. The role focuses on delivering
speech and language services to students ranging from early
childhood through 6th grade. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech
and language assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs
(IEPs), and implement targeted therapy plans for students aged 3 to
12 years. Collaborate with school staff, families, and other
service providers to support student communication development.
Manage caseload effectively across multiple locations including
preschools and elementary schools. Provide consultative support to
classroom teachers and assist other SLPs as needed. Maintain
accurate records and comply with all professional and legal
requirements related to speech-language pathology services.
Qualifications and Experience: Valid Professional License or
Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience
working with pediatric populations in educational settings
preferred. Ability to engage effectively with students, families,
and school personnel. Strong organizational and communication
skills. Flexibility to serve multiple schools and early childhood
programs within assigned regions. Location: Daphne, Alabama
(various school and preschool sites) Additional Information:
Position duration runs until May 20, 2026, with a full-time
schedule of 35 hours per week. Interviews are currently postponed
as discussions with district contacts continue. Caseload includes
students from preschool age 3 to 6th grade, with opportunities to
assist additional schools as schedules allow. This role offers a
