Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an
elementary school in Mobile, AL, serving students from Kindergarten
through 5th grade. This full-time contract position spans from
March 2025 to May 29, 2026, with 35 hours per week on-site
commitment. The role involves providing specialized speech-language
services to support communication development in young learners
within a supportive school environment. Key responsibilities
include: Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and
communication disorders in elementary-aged students Collaborating
with teachers, parents, and educational staff to develop and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintaining
accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district
and state regulations Participating in multidisciplinary team
meetings to ensure holistic student support Staying current with
best practices and continuing education in speech-language
pathology Qualifications and experience desired: Current
registration with the Board of Speech Examiners in Alabama is
required Experience working with school-aged children, especially
K-5 grade levels Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology
assessment tools and intervention strategies Excellent
communication and teamwork skills Prior experience in educational
settings is preferred Location: Ella Grant Elementary, Mobile, AL
