A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist in Semmes, AL, supporting students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This role offers a chance to work on-site within the public school system, providing essential psychological services to support student success. Responsibilities include: Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement intervention strategies Providing counseling and support services to students Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing professional insights Managing caseload across potentially multiple schools, with itinerant duties possible Qualifications: Active Alabama school psychology license is required Experience working with K-12 student populations in educational settings Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Flexibility to manage an evolving caseload and itinerant assignments Location: Semmes, AL (on-site) Schedule and Duration: Contract from March 23, 2025, through May 29, 2026 Approximately 37.5 hours per week This position requires a time-sensitive credentialing process and may include prescreen interviews to determine candidate suitability.
