This role is crucial for ensuring the high performance and reliability of our diverse fleet of vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and related components, helping Ryder stay at the forefront of the transportation industry through excellent vehicle uptime and efficiency. Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repair on diesel engines and vehicle components Diagnose and fix mechanical and electronic problems Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults quickly and make immediate repairs Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines in the workshop Collaborate with the fleet management team to schedule regular maintenance In-depth knowledge of diesel engines and components Ability to diagnose and fix mechanical and electronic issues Strong problem-solving skills Proficiency with maintenance tools and equipment Effective communication and documentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Life Insurance ASE Diesel Certification preferred Valid driver’s license
