Manager, Business Program Mgmt (Rewards, Recognition & Well-being Vendor Mgmt)

In this role, you will manage the activities and projects associated with our US and US-India Rewards, Recognition and Well-being (RRWB) Vendor Relationship Management Program. This program centralizes the management of RRWB vendors to reduce risk, optimize spend, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality of vendor relationships and their respective products and/or services. You will oversee RRWB vendor contracts, evaluations, performance monitoring, reporting, relationship management, and related inquiries. Additionally, you will manage and support special projects to address continuously evolving business needs, including vendor implementations, strategic initiatives, and process improvement. You will oversee the work of a Lead Specialist, work closely with stakeholders and colleagues across various areas of the firm, and report to the Senior Manager, Business Program Management.

Work you'll do

  • Manage vendor relationships across all areas of RRWB which includes compensation, health & welfare benefits, voluntary benefits, retirement benefits, recognition, leaves, mental health, and well-being vendors
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Centers of Excellence, Procurement, Office of General Counsel, Risk, IT, Client Services Leaders) to fulfill incoming requests and develop, deploy, and maintain program processes and tools
  • Interact with the highest management level of vendors (CEO's, COO's, Sales VP's etc.) to develop and foster mutually beneficial relationships and ensure favorable agreement execution
  • Lead RFI, RFP, and contract (re)negotiation activities in partnership with Procurement, ensuring all activities follow appropriate compliance standards
  • Maintain market insights on vendor management leading practices, competitive pricing, and performance standards, and advise leaders regarding recommendations
  • Partner with and advise stakeholders (Specialists thru Partners/Principals/Managing Directors) on appropriate use of vendors and identification of appropriate target vendors for their respective needs
  • Review and analyze reports to monitor the efficiency of each program, assess performance against KPIs, highlight concerns/successes, and identify opportunities for cost reductions and/or service enhancements on a continuous basis
  • Assess RRWB administrative process documentation and recommend improvements to CoE leaders
  • Manage and support special projects to address continuously evolving business needs, including vendor implementation planning, targeted compliance reviews, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives
    The individual selected for this role must have the ability to work independently and lead efforts on a variety of projects in a high volume, fast paced, and sometimes nebulous environment.

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
    • Minimum of 6 years of experience working in operations or vendor management supporting Rewards, Recognition and Well-being programs (as defined above) or related experience
    • Knowledge of and experience in drafting and/or negotiating vendor contracts including business terms, statements of work, fee schedules, and service level agreements
    • Familiarity with Rewards, Recognition and Well-being programs, (e.g., compensation, health & welfare benefits, voluntary benefits, retirement benefits, recognition, leaves, mental health, and well-being)
    • Experience researching, identifying, and evaluating vendors
    • Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, etc.), Access (or other database tools), PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams e-room and other knowledge management sites and other office/computer systems
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
      • Global (non-US) Rewards, Recognition and Well-being experience in addition to US experience
      • Excellent organizational and planning skills
      • Demonstrated strong communication, written, and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with a variety of levels including senior leaders both inside and outside of Deloitte
      • Ability to handle client relationships (internally and externally)
      • Strong listening, analytical, and decision-making skills necessary to resolve vendor issues
      • Proven ability to manage a team to fulfill requests and meet or exceed stakeholder expectations
        For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado and Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78,570-$144,695.

        You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
