Job Description:

*Overview*We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in various specialties such as ostomy care, behavioral health, pediatrics, and gastric lavage. Experience with MDS, ICD-10 coding, and working in teaching hospitals or assisted living facilities is highly desirable.*Responsibilities** Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians* Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care* Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment plans* Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients*Experience** Previous experience in medical/surgical nursing is required* Proficiency in ostomy care, behavioral health, pediatrics, and gastric lavage is preferred* Familiarity with MDS assessments and ICD-10 coding is a plus* Experience working in teaching hospitals or assisted living facilities is advantageous* Knowledge of sonography techniques would be beneficial#RN1Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $48.00 - $60.00 per hourMedical Specialty:* Medical-Surgical* TelemetryApplication Question(s):* Are you vaccinated* Willing to work for St Dominic Hospital?Experience:* Registered Nurse: 1 year (Preferred)* Medical-surgical: 1 year (Preferred)* Telemetry: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* RN License (Preferred)* BLS Certification (Preferred)Work Location: In personby Jobble
