Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) - Assignment Type:
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Start Date: December 1, 2025 - End
Date: March 2, 2026 - Contract Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 12-hour
nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), rotating weekends - Hours per Week: 36 -
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570 - $1680 CVICU RN Qualifications -
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Mississippi or compact state)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required - Minimum 1 year of
recent CVICU nursing experience with cardio open heart training
(must be detailed on resume) - Permanent address must be at least
50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility) CVICU Nurse
Responsibilities - Provide expert nursing care to cardiac patients
in the CVICU, including post-open heart surgery care - Monitor,
assess, and document patient status and progress using EMR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop
and implement individualized care plans - Respond to cardiac
emergencies and deliver advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) -
Maintain accurate and timely patient records - Float to other
