Perform advanced imaging procedures as a Radiology Technologist to support accurate diagnostics and exceptional patient care in a well-established healthcare setting. This role is based in Newton, KS, offering an opportunity to work on a contract basis with a reputable medical center known for its comprehensive services and recent expansions, including a dedicated pediatric hospital and state-of-the-art emergency care facilities. Key Responsibilities: Operate radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging interpretations. Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure. Maintain imaging equipment and manage patient records accurately. Provide compassionate support and clear explanations to patients undergoing procedures. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Certification and licensure as a Radiologic Technologist. Proven experience in radiology imaging techniques and technology. Strong understanding of patient safety and radiation protection standards. Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure. Availability for scheduled shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, including every other weekend.
