Job Description:

EnduraCare Acute Care Services (ECS) is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing excellent rehabilitation services at our affiliated hospitals. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover and improve their physical abilities, contributing to both patient wellbeing and hospital performance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong therapeutic skills, and the ability to contribute effectively to a multidisciplinary team. Assist Physical Therapists in the implementation of treatment plans. Perform therapeutic procedures and instruct patients in prescribed physical therapy exercises. Document patient responses and progress, and communicate patient needs and status to the supervising therapist. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure patient safety. Participate in patient status assessments and meetings with the healthcare team. Proven ability to implement clinical and practical skills in therapy practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and practices appropriate for patients of various ages and abilities. Capability to handle physical demands of the job, including moving and assisting patients. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license. CPR/BLS certification from a recognized program.
