This position provides nursing care on a Med-Surg Burn Center unit. Candidates must be proficient in Epic charting and have solid Med/Telemetry experience. Burn unit experience is a plus, but not required. Previous travel experience is also preferred. Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care to Med-Surg patients, including those on telemetry - Administer medications and perform nursing assessments - Respond to patient changes and emergencies appropriately - Document care and patient status accurately in EpicCare Inpatient EMR - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes Required Qualifications - Active RN license - 2 years of Med-Surg / Telemetry experience (burn experience a plus) - Epic EMR proficiency required - Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS – AHA or APEX Assignment Details - Location: Jackson, MS - Length: 13 weeks - Shift: 12-hour nights - Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week - BSN: Not required - Unit Notes: Med-Surg Burn Center; Epic charting proficiency required Interested?
