Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), Med Surg City/State: Jackson, Mississippi Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00 Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 02/16/2026 Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Med Surg unit is responsible for providing comprehensive care to hematology oncology patients. The position requires the ability to work with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5, adjusting for higher acuity patients as needed. Responsibilities: Administer medications, including chemotherapy with appropriate supervision. Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring proper documentation. Participate in patient care planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Manage high-flow RT equipment and bi-level positive airway pressure (BiPAP) devices, with RT support available. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN in Level 1 or large hospital settings is required. EPIC Charting experience is mandatory. BLS Certification is required.
