Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Jackson, MS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,930 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Jackson, Mississippi, 39216! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: MedSurg Burn Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Necessary Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS - AHA or APEX Must-Have: Proficiency in EPIC charting Description: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of solid medical-surgical experience. Experience in a burn unit is not required but is a plus. Previous travel nursing experience is an asset. The unit will accept candidates with medical, telemetry, and ICU skill sets. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:3. In certain situations, the ratio may be adjusted to a maximum of 1:4. If the unit has ICU patients, the ratio may change to 1:2. Candidates must comply with flu vaccine requirements, with exceptions only for documented medical reasons. Fingerprinting is required; remote processing may allow for completion within 10 days. Additional preparation may be required before the start of employment. Candidates should be flexible and adaptable to varying patient care needs.
