Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and professional MedSurg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Jackson, Mississippi. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient’s vital signs, note symptoms, and maintain accurate records. Provide specific care for patients including wound dressings, IV setups, and post-operative supervision. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimum patient care. Strong clinical skills in a MedSurg setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in using healthcare software and systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi. BLS Certification required. ACLS preferred.
