Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and professional Travel
MedSurg RN to join our dynamic team in Flowood, Mississippi. This
position is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about providing
exceptional patient care and wishes to make a significant impact in
a vital healthcare setting. As a MedSurg RN, you will work
alongside a supportive team to manage patient care in a
medical-surgical environment, ensuring optimal outcomes through
high-quality nursing practices. Provide comprehensive nursing care
to patients in a medical-surgical setting. Monitor, record, and
communicate patient conditions as necessary. Administer
medications, monitor vital signs, and initiate corrective action
whenever necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
to plan, manage, and assess patient treatments. Prepare patients
and assist with examinations or treatments. Educate patients and
their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures,
and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Contribute to a safe and
therapeutic environment and support the healthcare team’s efforts
to achieve patient outcomes. Strong clinical skills with a focus on
medical-surgical care. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Proficient in using healthcare software and electronic health
records. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Mississippi. Basic
Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) certification preferred.
