Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare, a leader in nursing and healthcare staffing,
is looking for a Travel MedSurg RN to join our dedicated team in
Jackson, Mississippi. This position offers the opportunity to work
in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care excellence.
The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of culturally
competent care for a wide variety of patients in a hospital
setting. Providing direct nursing care along with physical and
psychological support when needed. Assess, plan, implement, and
evaluate patient care plans in consultation with healthcare
professionals. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and
quickly address any care emergencies. Educate patients and their
families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and
other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Advocate for patients’ and
families' needs, and maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
Provide accurate documentation and proper records management with a
high degree of attention to detail. Strong clinical skills with a
knowledge of current MedSurg best practices. Ability to operate
medical equipment and perform complex procedures. Excellent
interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Mississippi or
compact state licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
