Registered Nurse (RN) | Case Manager Location: Jackson, MS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,446 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Case Management/Discharge Planning Profession: Nursing Specialty: Case Management Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour days Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum 3 years of Acute Inpatient Case Management experience, including at least 1 year in a large hospital setting. License: Current nursing license required. Certifications: BLS certification required. CCM preferred but not required. Must-Have: - Minimum of 3 years of Acute Inpatient Case Management experience - Experience in a large hospital (500 beds, Level 1) - Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Epic EMR - Recent (within the last two years) acute inpatient case management experience - Acute discharge planning experience Description: This position requires highly experienced candidates with acute inpatient case management and discharge planning experience. Training on the unit will be minimal; candidates must quickly pick up and work efficiently. The RN will cover all inpatient units throughout the facility, managing a caseload of 15-20 patients per day. The RN will collaborate with a social work team consisting of 15 full-time and 17 part-time social workers. The role involves consulting with respiratory therapy and pharmacy as needed for discharge planning. Candidates must comply with vaccination requirements and fingerprint screening prior to their start date. The work environment consists of a diverse range of complex patients, requiring sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills. Both ADN and BSN candidates are considered, with a preference for BSN. Flexibility to rotate on weekends and holidays as needed. Professionals will work alongside case management team members and will never work alone. The dress code allows any color scrubs or business professional attire.
