Radiology Tech Location: Jackson, MS Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,866 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position ID: 76655128 Shift: 8H Days 5x8 Description: Unit Notes:50 mile radius rulelocal accepted at reduced rateLocated on the main campus in the basement across from the ER. Shift: typically a Monday thru Friday operation with hours ranging from 7:00-4:30 but those hours could vary depending on volume. Our therapist do take call on the evenings and weekend. 2 therapists take call every weekend generally 2 weeks in a row as a rotation.We take call for holidays as well, major holidays are rotated every year to ensure fairness Typical patient volume is 50/ BLSEquipment the therapist will be utilizing Varian Edge with HyperSight and IdentifyVarian Ethos with Vision RTSiemens Go Open Pro SimulatorRecord and Verify System: AriaFINGERPRINT REQUIREMENT - Remote process must allow 10 days, In Person can be done at Jackson or Grenada campus the week prior to startFLU VACCINE IS REQUIRED at UMMC - deadline for flu vax is Nov 15 - only medical exemption is allowed and requires documented evidence from a health care provider of a past severe reaction to the vaccine Cancellation Listed Charting BSN License to Submit:No Trauma Level: Care Shift Required (AHA), Certified Radiation Therapist - ARRT (T) Certificate Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Contract Weeks:91 Requirements Required for Onboarding Core Exam - Allied/Non-Nursing Interventional Radiology RN Skills Checklist Monitor Tech Exam Radiologic Technologist Skills Checklist Radiology/X-Ray Tech Exam
