Certified Radiation Therapist Location Mississippi Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours ranging from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Flexibility may be required based on volume. Call responsibilities include evenings and weekends, with rotation every two weeks and holiday calls as assigned. Job Description The Certified Radiation Therapist will be responsible for utilizing advanced radiation therapy equipment including Varian Edge, Varian Ethos, and Siemens Go Open Pro Simulator, along with the Aria Record and Verify System. The typical patient volume is around 50 patients per day. Responsibilities Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist. Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively. Monitor patient treatment progress and report any issues to the medical staff. Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and progress. Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education opportunities. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS (AHA) certification.
