OverviewQualificationsMinimum Qualifications5 of the most recent 7 years' experience as a Sterile Processing Technician with at least two years in a leadership capacity.Licensure, Registration, CertificationOne of the following:

• CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician),
• HSPA,
• CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician)AndOne of the following:
  • CHL (Certified Healthcare Leader),
  • HSPA,
  • CSPM (Certified Sterile Processing Manager)Desired QualificationsOne of the following:
    • Bachelor's degreeAny combination of additional, relevant sterile processing specific experience, education, or certification.Licensure, Registration, CertificationAdditional HSPA or CBSPD certifications - Instrument Specialist (CIS or CSIS), Endoscope (CER or CFER), etc.ResponsibilitiesProvides supervisory support to the Sterile Processing Manager and maintains responsibility for the training and development of new and existing Sterile Processing staff.
