Job Description:
Characteristics of Work This position is responsible for
transporting program participants from rural areas of Hinds County
to various destinations within Hinds County in accordance with
applicable guidelines and regulations of the Mississippi Department
of Transportation (MDOT). The work also involves transporting meals
to the elderly and disabled once a week in accordance with
applicable guidelines and regulations of the Central Mississippi
Planning & Development District (CMPDD). Qualifications High school
diploma or GED. Ability to communicate effectively. Must possess a
valid Mississippi Driver’s License and clean driving record. AND
Applicants must submit to and pass drug screening tests as outlined
by Hinds County Human Resource Agency’s Personnel Policies and
Procedures.
