Amazon Web Services (AWS) is expanding its infrastructure and is seeking a seasoned Sr. Construction Manager with a strong background in large-scale infrastructure projects to lead construction initiatives for our rapidly evolving data center developments. This role is a profound opportunity to make significant impacts on a global scale, ensuring projects meet design specifications, budget, and timeline requirements. Working closely with design engineers, project managers, and executive stakeholders, this position will be instrumental in the strategic rollout of AWS data centers. Oversee all phases of construction from planning to completion, focusing on cost-effectiveness and time management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and operations to drive project delivery. Ensure compliance with all construction, environmental, safety, and local regulatory guidelines. Manage multiple contractor and subcontractor teams, ensuring quality standards and workmanship. Conduct risk assessments, troubleshoot on-site issues, and implement real-time corrective measures. Prepare and present detailed project status reports to senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities. Proven leadership and project management skills in a construction environment Strong understanding of construction standards, regulations, and compliance requirements Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and effectively communicate technical information Proficient in using construction management software (e.g., Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud) Financial literacy to manage budgets and understand financial statements Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k PMP (Project Management Professional) Certified Construction Manager (CCM) desired LEED Accredited Professional (AP) is a plus
