Sector is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Operations Engineer to
support an Air Force Modernization program. The Cyber Security
Operations Engineer is a senior-level role responsible for the
cyber security operations and maintenance of complex network
infrastructures within both classified and unclassified Air Force
base area networks. This position requires extensive expertise in
network engineering, security protocols, and advanced
troubleshooting to ensure the highest levels of network
performance, reliability, and security. Responsibilities: The
Senior Cyber Security Operations Engineer will work closely with
Communications Squadron support staff, network engineers, and other
IT professionals to resolve complex network issues and maintain the
integrity and security of the network environment. Additional
responsibilities include: Oversee the day-to-day cybersecurity
operations of network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance,
availability, and security Perform advanced troubleshooting and
resolution of complex network security issues Implement and manage
robust network security measures to protect classified and
unclassified data Conduct STIG assessments and remediate as
required Foster a collaborative environment that encourages
innovation and continuous improvement in cybersecurity practices
Ensure all network operations comply with Air Force security
standards and regulations Conduct regular security audits,
vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and
mitigate potential threats Develop and implement incident response
plans for network security breaches Maintain comprehensive
documentation of network configurations, security procedures, and
incident reports Prepare and present reports on network security
performance, projects, and improvements to senior management
Qualifications: Required: Active Secret security clearance
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of related work experience (HS
diploma or associate degree plus 10 years of experience performing
supporting large, complex DoD networks with focus on cybersecurity
may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree) Direct O&M
experience of Air Force Base Area Networks with a strong emphasis
on cybersecurity DoD 8570 IAT II Baseline Certification (CompTIA
Security CE or CCNA-SEC); CCNP Security or CISSP or equivalent
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Desired:
5 years of experience managing telecommunications and/or data
center projects with a focus on cybersecurity Certifications such
as CASP, CEH, or GCIH - What You Can Expect: A culture of

influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic
location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract
wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and

benefits. The proposed salary range for this position is: $81,300 -
