Sprinkler DesignerPlease note only candidates with Sprinkler design experience will be considered.Possess layout knowledgeBe the technical type, must understand sprinkler systems and its relationship with rest of structurePossess drafting experience Degree not required. We are not seeking Design Engineers. We are seeking Designers with Sprinkler system experience.Construction market for commercial construction. Must have:Past experience designing automatic fire sprinkler systems to contract specifications and NFPA and local codes.Hydraulically calculating systems.Confirming intent in Design Kick-Off meetings and sales layout and work with sales personnel.Coordinating with all trades in design phase.Site visits and communication with field and jurisdictional personnel.Assisting Fabrication Manager ordering all materials for systems.Attending progress meetings as needed or as directed by management.QUALIFICATIONS include:At least 2 years design experience in the fire sprinkler industry.Working knowledge of HYDRA CAD, AUTOSPRINK, AUTOCAD and other fire protection design software.NICET Level II certification preferred.ONLY applicants possessing them minimum qualifications will be considered. Candidates must have a VALID drivers license and successfuly complete a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening.
