Job Description:

Koch Foods is seeking a dynamic and experienced CIT Supervisor to join our team at one of our leading poultry processing facilities. As an integral part of our operations team, the CIT Supervisor will be responsible for leading and supervising the Continuous Improvement Team (CIT). This role focuses on enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and implementing process improvements across production lines. The ideal candidate will champion operational excellence and ensure our processes align with the organization's goals and compliance standards. Lead and manage the Continuous Improvement Team to achieve performance targets and improvement initiatives. Develop and implement strategies for process optimization, including technology integration and workflow management. Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction. Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and maintenance departments to ensure seamless implementation of improvement projects. Train and mentor CIT members and plant personnel on lean manufacturing techniques and best practices. Prepare and present reports on progress and achievements of improvement projects to senior management. Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment. Strong leadership and people management skills Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or above) Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar is advantageous.
