Job Description:
Mission To safely support the Production Department in an
organized, SAI-compliant workplace. · Your supervisor will direct
these duties and may assign others. · You are expected to take
ownership of and be accountable for your actions and equipment;
this Job Description is only a guide. Attendance, attitude and
performance to standards will affect your reviews and
opportunities. Reports to Production Supervisors & Production
Manager Duties Empties Waste Carts into Baling Machine and operates
Baling Machine Moves bales to staging area Replaces paste totes
Maintains a clean work area Removes core waste and filled fiber
trash drums from the production flow and dumps them in the dumpster
Operates the S20 Tennant Sweeper to clean dust and debris off of
the production and warehouse floor Consolidates and disposes of
finished paste drums from production Provides incidental backup
Lift Driver support as needed, especially on weekends Completes all
required paperwork associated with job responsibilities and duties
Performs other duties as assigned Essential Abilities Reads,
understands and follows all rules, regulations and work
instructions Arrives at the workplace, before the shift begins, day
in and day out Works scheduled overtime (weekdays / weekends) Lifts
up to 60 lbs. repeatedly Able to operate a forklift, the baler, a
S20 Tennant sweeper, and a “Tugger” after sufficient training Leads
and coordinates group activities and cooperates with other crews
Education and Experience Writes legibly and performs basic
addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Expresses
thoughts freely and speaks clearly GED or HS Diploma 1 yr.
