Dirt Cheap Distribution Center is currently hiring SECURITY GUARD for its growing Distribution Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.*Paid Weekly*Hiring For Multiple Shifts:Morning Shifts: Monday - Friday 6am - 3:00pm Paid $12 per hourNight Shifts : Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:59pm $13 per hourWeekend Shifts: Saturday - Monday 6:00am - 6:30pm $13.25 per hourIn the role of a Security Guard, you will work in a large distribution facility and be responsible for helping to protect assets and providing a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.If you are looking for a role that contributes to the entire distribution operation and allows you to protect some of Dirt-Cheap's most important assets, this could be the position for you!Must be 21 years of age or older, physically fit, able to do walking, standing, and securing the premises eight hours a day.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence* Provide safe the secure environment* Monitor and authorize entrance of employees to the facility* Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations* Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company propertyRequirements* Must have valid car insurance; may have to drive between facilities* Physically fit enough to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift* No experience needed; military, correction officers, or related fields experience preferred* Must be able to work one or more of the following shifts:* Must be able to pass security background checks* Excellent listening and verbal communication skills* High level of integrity and initiative* Maintain a flexible schedule and ability to work in an on-call capacity, sometimes working overtime as neededWorking Conditions:* Working in moderate to loud noise levels* Climate controlled environment* Walking in rain, snow, heat, or cold weather when walking the premisesOur recruiters will review all applications and resumes and will call the applicants whose skill-sets most closely match those we are looking for and schedule onsite interviews.Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.Salary Description$12.00- $13.25 per hourPDN-993f6392-d6a9-4b23-9ea7-7279dcabc640
