Job DescriptionWalt Massey Automotive Group is a fast growing automotive retail company, serving South Mississippi and Alabama. We are looking to add an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to our team as a used vehicle inventory analyst.The primary responsibility for the used inventory analyst team is to accurately value the unique characteristics of each individual car that we buy or sell, and also allocate those vehicles across our group of dealerships. To properly value and allocate these vehicles, our inventory analyst must be able to apply data from multiple sources to allocate inventory and make pricing decisions to help sell vehicle as quick and efficiently as possible. Analyst will also work directly with a supervisor to assist in acquiring inventory through trade in opportunities and wholesale purchasing In addition to competitive pay, we offer our analyst the following benefits:

  • Analyze and purchase inventory online with provided guidance
  • Work with teammates and direct manager to ensure all parts of each acquisition is successful
  • Daily stock-in of inventory purchased into our DMS
  • Work with Inbound team to insure transportation is completed in a timely manner
  • Work with auctions on arbitration claims and reconditioning adjustments
  • Process and understand data
  • Analyze and price inventory online with provided guidance
  • Allocate inventory between dealerships based on market data
