Location: Hattiesburg, MS
The Basic Function is to provide consistent, quality work.
Associates should have strong work ethic and discipline in
maintaining consistent processes and work habits. Associates will
follow and support the usage of proper PPE, safety procedures,
housekeeping, utilizing resources effectively, and have continued
focus on the end customer and that the quality of their work is to
the level the Kohler Brand demands.
Assist in the completion of facilities maintenance tasks and
general labor as required.
Responsible for proper use of tools and safety equipment.
Expectation is to notify "Setup" associate, Team Leader, or manager
of any unsafe condition.
Follow all safety, quality, and process instructions and procedures
at all times while inside the facility.
Expected to utilize resources effectively in the facility in terms
of breaks, quality and training support needs, and utilize time
Demonstrate operational discipline in following consistent work
instructions, and work with a high sense of urgency.
Engage and participate in the morning facilities meetings to
discuss prior day issues or concerns in any area of operation that
will aid in improvements from the previous day and seek to
understand the daily and weekly department needs and goals.
Perform training or work element details, quality risks, and job
knowledge to new employees.
Ensure applicable product compliance requirements are upheld
including but not limited to the Clean Air Act, California Code of
Regulation and California Health and Safety Code.
High school diploma or GED equivalent or relevant experience
Minimum of 60 days of experience in an industrial manufacturing
environment with Kohler or similar type of industry.
1 year of experience in fast-pace, high volume environment
