Lease Purchase Drivers: --get a walk away from the lease, meaning they can walk away at any point in time with NO penalty fees. NO credit check, No down payment, NO balloon payment! --You will choose which truck you want from the trucks we have on our yard. If for any reason you decide you want a different trucks, just let us know and we will work on getting you back to our terminal to get you swapped into another truck.--
Shelton does a 9.5% escrow to ensure break downs and shop bills impact the driver as little as possible. We have a road call person here 24/7/365 to help assist you.-- After service is provided for you, Shelton will take care of the bill immediately so nothing is due from you at the time of service. Once we receive the invoice for the service, our billing department contacts you to break up the service bill into manageable payments for you to repay.
As a lease purchase driver you get 68% of the revenue of each load you haul and 100% of the fuel surcharge of the load. Typically the average rate on our loads is $2-$4 per mile. This will vary depending on what loads you accept, what areas you run, and how often you try to be home. We get our drivers home every weekend but you have the option to run over the weekend if you would like.
Payments for the trucks are $475 weekly. The term of the lease will depend on which truck you choose. --
Shelton also offers drivers the opportunity to lease to own a trailer! --Trailers are typically $210 weekly and increase drivers' pay to 75%!
We have a high success rate with our lease purchase. One of the reasons for the success is that we are always willing to work with our drivers.
