DISPATCHER
Location: Hattiesburg, MS
Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $14-$16/hour DOE
PrideStaff Hattiesburg is seeking an experienced Dispatcher on behalf of our client in Hattiesburg, MS. In this role, the Dispatcher will perform the following duties:
--- Managing truck drivers' schedules and routes
--- Scheduling freight destination pickup up and deliveries
--- Providing shipping details to customers
--- Reviewing logs of truck drivers
--- Documenting all calls, deliveries, routes and times for pickups and deliveries
--- Completing paperwork related to shipments, such as invoices
--- Handling customer complaints and inquiries
--- Negotiating rates and delivery time lines
QUALIFICATIONS:
--- Knowledgeable of the local region (South MS, LA, AL)
--- Familiarity of how shipping, trucking and logistics work
--- Analytical skills to problem-solve and coordinate geographically Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama
--- Experience in in scheduling, supervising, and customer service
--- Technology skills, particularly in Excel
--- Strong organizational and time management skills
--- Excellent communication skills to clearly relay information to all involved parties
--- Must be skilled, have patience to handle working in a fast paced environment ?
