Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Long-Term
Acute Care (LTAC) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position in
Jackson, Mississippi. This role is ideal for a compassionate
professional who is eager to make a significant impact on patient
lives in a challenging yet rewarding environment. Working closely
with the healthcare team, the LTAC RN will deliver high-quality
care to patients with serious illnesses and injuries that require
extended hospital care. Provide direct nursing care to patients in
a LTAC setting. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition
as appropriate. Work collaboratively with other healthcare
professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
plans. Manage medication doses, anesthesia, and ventilatory
support. Provide education and support to patient families
regarding conditions and care plans. Adhere to all facility
policies and procedures while upholding standards of safety and
infection control. Strong clinical skills in a healthcare setting
Ability to operate complex medical equipment Critical thinking and
problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in
the state of Mississippi or a compact state Basic Life Support
(BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
